Eko Group H2O+ teamed up with Postobon, Recon, Reckitt, and One Young World to install four Ekomuros, each capable of storing 600 liters, in the Juan B. Caballero, Anthony A. Phipps, Abraham Lincoln, and Centauros Sede El Amor schools in Villavicencio. This collaborative effort not only addresses the issue of clean water access for over 2200 students but also collects more than 2400 liters of rainwater monthly, ensuring a sustainable solution.

In this project, we didn't just install the Ekomuros; we also conducted training sessions in each of these schools. These sessions covered topics like appropriate technology, environmental education, and circular economy principles, along with guidance on the proper use and maintenance of the system. Through these trainings, we aim to cultivate a culture of environmental stewardship and responsible water usage among the students.

This alliance underscores their dedication to the environment and communities by leaving a manual for constructing the Ekomuro using recycled PET bottles at each institution. This empowers the community to replicate the system at home. As a token of appreciation for implementing this system, the Eko Group H2O+ Foundation will donate a water purification filter for every Ekomuro installed within the educational community, thereby extending access to clean drinking water to those in need.
