Eko Group H2O+, in partnership with El Dorado Airport, installed three Ekomuros in the Engativá local government offices and surrounding areas. This initiative aims to benefit the community and promote eco-friendly practices for water conservation and utilization. The Ekomuro system installed at the government offices has a capacity of 1200 liters, primarily designated to supply water for cleaning purposes on-site.
The collaborative efforts between Eko Group H2O+ and El Dorado Airport extended beyond the Engativá community to benefit 650 students from San Ramon Funza School in Funza. These initiatives not only raise awareness among students about single-use plastics but also motivate them to explore environmental alternatives to address the challenges posed by climate change.
We hope that our partnership with El Dorado Airport will enable us to continue benefiting more people, not only in Bogotá's urban areas but across the entire country. This will allow us to bring this project to vulnerable communities and contribute to reducing the number of families without access to clean water.
